Review :
Words cannot begin to describe the beauty in this movie. Slumdog Millionaire isn’t an everyday movie; limit yourself to one viewing per year and you may avoid chronic depression. This was a masterpiece of director Danny Boyle. From the music to the cast, every aspect of this movie deserves merit all thanks to Boyle. The acting is a great surprise because most actors are very young and have never acted before, but in this film the inexperience doesn’t show.
Boyle’s direction in this film is truly a marvelous. This movie displays in an archetypal format: the journey, the path, and that children have to go to in India. He turned street life into a genuine film that people of all ages will enjoy. Slumdog Millionaire starts off like a comedic drama but as the film progresses there is much more to witness such as: love, friendship, and even envy. This movie will have you laughing, crying, and allow you to just cherish Boyle’s magic as the director.
The movie is actually based on Love; something that a lot may not realize. Love is the main reason that Jamal (The Main Character) does everything he does and how he does it. This movie shows that there is nothing you can do to prevent these things(in the film) from actually happening. Despite all the obstacles, Jamal had to go through, it didn’t stop him. Boyle intended to do in this film with one major question: Destiny or Fate?
This movie has the perfect combination of: love, romance, and envy. It has been a while since there has been so much emotion and moral to a movie such as Slumdog Millionaire. So flawless that the only downside you can actually put on it is that it had to end. When you’re watching it you simple just do not want it to end, but of course it had an ending. If you’re still wondering if you should go Slumdog Millionaire, I highly recommend it! It is worth both the movie ticket and the DVD purchase.
